The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco is a four door midsize sedan. Malibu Eco is the eighth-generation Malibu lineup to arrive in dealer showrooms, and it will be sale in Q1 2012, and has an MSRP of $25,995, including a $760 destination charge. For the first time, The manufacturing locations of Malibu Eco come from Fairfax, Kansas and Detroit-Hamtramck at the Michigan.

Exterior

All new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco have a new exterior from the design to stand out around the world and matched with all new. It also include larger Chevrolet bowtie badges front and rear, taillamps inspired by the Camaro and a single hidden exhaust outlet, Chevrolet’s dual port grille, large swept back projector HID headlamps with 3-dimensional execution and 17-inch alloy wheels and low rolling resistance Goodyear tires.

For the 2013, Malibu Eco use the aerodynamic, with the features include taillamps shaped for aero performance without design penalty, 4 underbody panels – more commonly found on premium-priced car, dual port grille upper is closed to redirect air flow up and over the hood and Outside rearview mirrors designed to maximize efficiency.

Interior

For the interior of Malibu Eco also include the dual cockpit interior that has more room, comfort and use the premium materials.

The 2013 Malibu Eco interior features metallic, surrounding the center stack, around the instrument cluster and on doors and the steering wheel. Soft, ice blue ambient lighting reflects off of and complements chrome accents and ensures even, chrome or wood accents located around the shifter and consistent illumination along the instrument panel.

Engine and Performance

The 2013 Malibu Eco armed by two engine, there are Ecotec 2.4L DOHC I-4 VVT DI w/ eAssist and Ecotec 2.5L DOHC I-4 VVT DI.

For the engine Ecotec 2.4L DOHC I-4 VVT DI w/ eAssist, its produce 182 hp 134 kW at 6.200 rpm which 172 lb.ft. of the torque 233 Nm at 4.900 rpm. These engine only use in Malibu Eco and will take the distance in 25 mpg at city, 37  mpg at highway and 29 mpg at the combine.

While the Ecotec 2.5L DOHC I-4 VVT DI, it can use the three variant like Malibu LS, LT, and LTZ. Will produce 190 hp 141 kW at 6.200 rpm and the result of 180 lb.ft. of the torque 245 Nm at 4.500 rpm.

Safety Features

A Malibu Eco is designed to be one of the safest cars in the segment, with features including forward collision alert, lane departure warning, pedal release system, 4-disc brakes with ABS, 8 standard air bags and StabiliTrak stability control system with full function traction control.

Competitor

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco have three competitor in it class, such as Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata and Honda Accord.
