2014 Nissan Qashqai New Rendering

The new Nissan Qashqai 2014 rendering. Based on recent spy photos Poblete prepared two rendering photos of the new generation of Nissan Qashqai which is scheduled to be unveiled in November and will be released by the beginning of the new year with similar values to the current model.

The car bears the new design language of the Nissan and has an innovative design that will make it more luxurious than its predecessor, with the crossover to be expected to look like the Hi-Cross concept that we saw at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012.

Mechanical will be available with a new 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine with 114 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque with average fuel consumption 5.6 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions of less than 120 g/km. Also there will be a 1,6-liter dCi 130 HP performance engine oil with an average consumption of 4.7 l/100 km and 105 g/km of CO2 emissions. Finally, there will be a plug-in hybrid variant, with the release of be expected after 2015.

The design, development and construction will be done by Nissan in England. Nissan will invest 215 million. euros for the development of the new Qashqai offering a total of 6,000 new jobs in UK.

The design of the new car has been done by the European Nissan design center located in Paddington in London while the development of the European technical center is located in the city’s Cranfield Bedfordshire. The car will be manufactured at the factory of the same Sunderlan manufactured today as the current generation of Qashqai and Juke and Note.

The Japanese crossover based on a brand new modular platform that will be used in future enough sedans, as well as the next generation of X-Trail. Will transfer the traffic to the front axle, four-wheel drive is optional.

It will be offered in two locations plus variant, however there will be seven-seater crossover in range of the Japanese company. According to internal information the new Qashqai will be available exclusively five-seater, while the X-Trail will also have a seven-seat version.

From the pictures we can judge that the wheelbase has grown, as well as the width of the car, the rear axle is mounted slightly further forward. The new Qashqai will have almost similar dimensions to those of the current model and inside will be of better quality materials and will have a new design. Nissan has a scale that measures the overall quality of the car, with the new Qashqai is the first model that takes grade 6.
